The Power of Words

You are probably familiar with the positive effect that a nice and a supportive word can have on you when someone gives you a compliment  or recognition for a certain action you did or gives you encouragement in a difficult moment …
Words can make a huge difference on you, on your day and to others.

From duties to pleasure

Have you already experienced that some tasks become, after a while, an obligation, although you started them with pleasure? How does it happen that you can start something full-hearted and end up being stressed and annoyed?

Let’s draw an imaginary line where “obligations and duties” are at one end and “pleasures and accomplishments” to the other end. Our perception moves along this line: when it approaches the “obligations and duties” side, very often repetitions are spoiling our experience.

Listen more to my body

“My journey with Michelle through the Grinberg Method lasted about a year and a half and was a simply beautiful experience, very strong on an emotional and sensory level. Right from the start, I felt a feeling from the “belly” with Michelle who thanks to her empathy, delicacy and irony has managed to guide me along this path, based on trust, encouragement and even honesty when it was necessary … and sometimes necessary it was?
During this process I learned to listen more to my body and the signals it gives us. Thanks to the work done through breathing and massage I have learned to know and recognize better the signals and emotions that “inhabit” us inside. I was also able to learn how “little-big” changes in the everyday life, starting from breathing and posture, have a big impact on the management of our emotions and especially of fears. Looking at the fears in the face, being able to recognize them was one of the most beautiful and difficult parts during the work done with Michelle. Thanks also to the homework between one session and another, I had the opportunity to confront precisely my fears or the “uncomfortable things” of my life.
One last thing I will never forget about my sessions, is the energy that circulated in the body after working on it … being able to literally perceive the flow of energy under the first layer of skin from head to toes as a continuous vibration was really exciting and liberating!” Laura

Blocked with fear

“When I came to Michelle I was blocked with fear and was struggling to take the next steps in my life. The bodywork sessions did not only help me to handle my present fear, but gave me a tool for the future. What makes working with Michelle such a pleasure is that she is not only a great professional, but an authentic person with empathy and intuition. I am grateful for the sessions I had with her.”  I.K.

The Breath, a bridge into your body

In our modern and busy life, it is very easy to find ourselves stuck in tensions, worries and restlessness. When our mind reacts to stressful situations and starts to run, it leads the all body into the stress responds. So we find ourselves believing that we cannot take a break, let go of the tensions or take a moment to relax before having done everything that is in our “to do list”. We don’t dare to take a pause because of the fear of missing out something very important or of not being able to respect a deadline. We are convinced that only when the duty is accomplished, we will have the time – and also the authorization – to relax. The only little problem is that we have always something on our “to do list”.

Stay with the breathe

“Michelle is a an incredibly positive and attentive person. She patiently taught me how go through intense fears by staying present.
I learned how to stay with the breathe while going  through emotionally challenging situations. At the same time I become much more aware of the signals my emotions are sending to my body. I was able to recognize the direct influence of my thoughts on my  physical pain so that now i can prevent it before it happens.
In a loving way Michelle thought me how to appreciate myself more and focus on my strengths. Thank you Michelle! ” Jeli
