To know how to say no

‘I’ve really enjoyed coming here. It helped me to relax and take a break from the madness of everyday life. I’ve learnt that sometimes it’s essential to know how to say no, even if it’s not something you learn overnight. It’s a process I’m still working on. These sessions have also enabled me to put what I want and need at the centre of my attention. I’ve been able to step back from my habit of always worrying about what other people want from me and wanting to please everyone. This led me to question why I do certain things. These sessions also helped me a lot to release the muscular tension in my back and diaphragm, which were my body’s reactions to stress.
